PARTNER RETIRES AFTER 32 YEARS
ROSEVILLE, CA, MAY 2, 2011: GALLINA LLP bids farewell to long-time partner, Bill Clark, after 32 years of service to the firm. Starting in the Bay Area practice in 1978, Clark is among one of the many team members who have spent most, if not all, of their career with GALLINA LLP. Clark is the longest tenured team member in the firm’s Bay Area region. He has been a driving force in the Bay Area region with leading the hiring process as well as serving as Managing Partner to the region. Clark retired on April 30, 2011 from the Walnut Creek, California office after a long and satisfying career.
Many find his work prior to GALLINA an unusual combination for a graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a masters degree in Business Administration. Unlike most certified public accountants, Clark has traveled a unique road from employment as a taxi driver to an elementary school teacher. He’s also taught at California State University, East Bay in the Construction Management Program. He shares how “I started my career as an auditor with a national firm, but found I preferred the breadth of services offered by local and smaller regional firms.”
Ed Traille shares that “he has been a great partner, and strong supporter of the firm, building strong relationships with referral sources and building staff in the Bay Area having led the hiring process for many years as well as serving as the Bay Area managing partner for several years.” He continues by wishing “Bill a great long life in a retirement he has well deserved.”
