Experience and Expertise

For over 20 years Mike has been providing public accounting services and currently serves GALLINA LLP’s clients in the Bay Area. He has served clients in real estate, with experience in commercial, residential real estate as well as development.

Mike specializes in consulting for various areas of tax credits and tax administration such as property and sales tax. He also consults in areas such as sales tax audit defense, sales tax impact on business transactions and property tax valuations and assessments. Mike has experience in preparing multi-state taxability studies; planning, design and presentation of sales tax training materials; and sales tax research in numerous industries.

Approach

Something of a detective, Mike is known for his innovation in finding opportunities to reduce tax liability. He also knows the importance of seeing a project through to the end, and implementing his systems gives him immense satisfaction. He also consistently utilizes emerging technologies to design data systems to document internal controls.
