Experience

After twenty-seven years as the managing partner of Burnett + Company LLP, Steve recently came home to GALLINA LLP through a company merger, as the partner in charge of the Rancho Cordova office and member of the Executive Committee. He began his career with GALLINA LLP in 1977, after graduating with honors from California State University, Sacramento. Steve is an admired advisor in the construction, real estate and related industries. He is passionate about the industries he serves. “My dad was a contractor. As a result, my experience goes way back. I understand the needs of my clients and take pleasure in helping with every aspect of their business, whether it is working through a difficult business transaction or preparing year-end financial information.”

Expertise

Steve’s area of expertise lies within both worlds of the accounting profession, audit and tax. He has worked extensively with contractors, developers, construction supply companies and manufacturers for well over thirty years. As a consultant, he is able to provide the most cutting edge information and tax incentive programs. He currently holds CPA certifications in California, Nevada and Hawaii.
